What happened

Screening time fell from about an hour and a half to about 30 minutes per candidate.

The senior HR advisor was running about 20 screening interviews a week, taking at least two days, while also running payroll and covering for a vacant manager role. Watching a response now takes about 12 minutes.

Before you believe it

Employment Hero is selling the product, and the times are the firm account. The HR lead wrote the questions herself and managers still make the shortlist decision, so the saving depends on questions that sort candidates well. Check Australian privacy and discrimination duties before recording candidates.
